Welcome to Cristal Boat Charters, an online marketplace for boat rentals and transfer taxi boat. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Booking a Boat (taxi transfer or Private, Charter Boat or Excursion Boat); Customers may book listed boats subject to availability. By booking a boat, you agree to:

4. Fees and Payment

Cristal Boat Charters charges a service fee for each transaction. The fee structure is detailed on our website and may change from time to time. Payment processing services are provided by Stripe and are subject to their terms and conditions.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the Cristal Boat Charters terms. Please review the specific terms for each listing. 

Cristal Boat Charters reserve the right to cancel or deny bookings at any time, including but not limited to weather conditions, boat malfunctions, and personal reasons. In such cases, renters will receive a refund after deducting applicable fees and taxes.

For Renters/Customers

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Periods:

More than 72 hours in advance: Full refund.

Less than 72 hours in advance: No refund.

In the event of adverse weather conditions deemed unsafe by Cristal Boat Charters, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Refund Processing:

Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving a cancelation request.

No-Show/ Late Policy:

Failure to arrive without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the full booking amount. Late arrivals or returns may result in additional fees charged by the hourly rate of the rental at the Cristal Boat Charters discretion.

Changes to Bookings:

Changes to bookings (e.g., rescheduling, altering the duration of rental) may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Company Discretion:

The company reserves the right to amend this cancelation policy at its discretion.

Forces of nature:

In case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), the cancelation policy may be adjusted accordingly.

6. Insurance

Cristal Boat Charters is responsible for ensuring their boats are adequately insured. Customers are encouraged to obtain additional appropriate insurance coverage.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sint Maarten. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state of Sint Maarten

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

  Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

  This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

  This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
